Diesel Gym Essex brings one of London's most storied combat sports brands to Essex. This isn't a new gym — it's a new location for a name that has been producing champions, fighters, and serious martial artists since 2003.
The Diesel story begins with Kru Cliff Bura. A martial artist with over 40 years of coaching experience, Cliff earned his first black belt in 1984 and has dedicated his life to the study and teaching of combat sports. His Muay Thai journey was shaped by the legendary Grandmaster Sken Kaewpadung, one of the most respected names in the art.
In 2003, Cliff founded the London Sitnarong Camp — which grew into the Diesel Muay Thai Team and ultimately became Diesel Gym London in 2008. Born in London's East End, the gym quickly became one of the most recognised MMA and Muay Thai gyms in the UK, producing champions across Muay Thai, MMA, grappling and No Gi.

Founder & Head Coach — Diesel Gym
Cliff has been coaching martial arts for over 40 years, earning his first black belt in 1984. His Muay Thai was forged under the legendary Grandmaster Sken Kaewpadung, and he has thousands of students and champions to his name. He founded the London Sitnarong camp in 2003 and Diesel Gym London in 2008 — now one of the UK's most internationally recognised combat sports gyms. He is responsible for all aspects of the Diesel brand and takes an active role in ensuring coaching standards are maintained to the highest level across every location.

Jason "The Assassin" Radcliffe
MMA Coach
Professional MMA fighter competing in the light heavyweight division since 2011. A dangerous finisher with the majority of victories by KO or submission, Jason has competed for major European organisations including Cage Warriors and KSW. Career highlights include a Cage Warriors Middleweight Championship title challenge, multiple first-round knockout victories, and wins over top international opponents across the UK and Europe.
Louie Dodds
Muay Thai Coach
Over 17 years' experience as both a fighter and coach in traditional Muay Thai. Trained at Munkorndam Sityodtong gym under Chris Rawlings and in Thailand under Grandmaster Yodtong Senanang, Sit Palang Ayutthaya and Kaewsamrit gym. Pad man for his brother Natty Dodds, ranked No.2 in the UK at super lightweight. Has worked on the biggest Muay Thai shows in the UK including Hitman Fight League, Thai Fight, MTGP, Yokkao and Road To One. Coaching rooted in traditional golden era Muay Thai.
Iznaur Bakanaev
Wrestling & Grappling Coach
Over 20 years in combat sports forged through the Soviet and Russian school of freestyle wrestling in Chechnya. Two-Time NAGA UK Champion, British Open Champion, England Open Champion, ACBJJ Silver Medallist, and multiple Chechen Republic Wrestling Champion. Has trained alongside world champions and professional fighters in UFC, Bellator and ACA. Coaches wrestling, takedowns, positional control and submission grappling for kids, adults, competitors and MMA athletes.
Ayat Karami
Wrestling Coach
Ayat Karami, a high-level Iranian wrestler with 30 years of experience teaching wrestling, will teach this.
He is a British wrestling champion and has taught kids who have also become British champions.
